NDR 2026: SG Child Support Package

Announced

The SG Child Support Package replaces the Baby Bonus and Large Families schemes from 1 April 2027. Every Singapore Citizen child gets the same support regardless of birth order — about $70,000 from birth to age 17.

  • Existing children benefit too, not just babies born from April 2027.
  • Child Credits: $2,000 a year for every child turning 1 to 16 from 2026.
  • PSEA top-up: $10,000 for every child turning 17 from 2026.
  • CDA co-matching: every cap becomes $5,000 from 1 October 2027 (children born from 2015). Third and later children on a higher cap can save up to it until 30 September 2027.
  • Payouts start April 2027, into the bank account linked to your child's PayNow ID — set it up before 1 April 2027.
